Mike is saying that Nylander OR Brown (who apparently lead the AHL in scoring) will be in the lineup on Wednesday.

That was my thought too. Especially when playing guys like Holland and Lupul back to back.

If management want to send them down for development reasons, they're probably just trying to keep them from forcing their way into the bigs.

Remember this is the same coach who left Nyquist at the beginning of the lock out season in the AHL, while he was tearing it up.

Why keep Brown and Nylander up if they are not going to play either of the last 2 exhibition games?

I can think of two reasons
The coach knows they are sticking with the big club.
Put some fear into our borderline scrubs.....(not likely)

Not sure but babcock said today "for me when you know a guys ready, you don't need to see them as much" so not sure what he meant by that but maybe he has them penciled in? He said he wants to see some other guys tonight.
